Scoutvox

Getting started with Scoutvox

Every step below is something you can do in the live product. Nothing here needs an account to read — you will need one from step 1 onward to follow along.

1

Create your account and sign in

One Nimvox ID signs you in to Scoutvox and every other Nimvox product — you never keep a separate Scoutvox password.

Do this

  1. Open scoutvox.dev and choose Sign up (or Log in if you already have a Nimvox ID).
  2. You land on id.nimvox.dev — the central Nimvox sign-in, branded for Scoutvox. This is expected, not a redirect error.
  3. Enter your email and password, or use Continue with Google / GitHub / Apple.

You get

  • You arrive at the Scoutvox dashboard signed in.
  • The same Nimvox ID now works across every Nimvox product.

Worth knowing

  • The sign-in page is on id.nimvox.dev, not scoutvox.dev. That is the central identity service — check the padlock and the domain, then continue.
2

Analyse your first job listing

Scoutvox reads a public job listing and scores its quality, so you can see what is costing you applicants before you spend on advertising it.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Paste the public URL of a job listing into the “Paste a job listing URL…” field.
  2. Press Analyze.
  3. Wait for the report — Scoutvox fetches the listing and scores it.

You get

  • A quality report appears, with an overall score out of 100.
  • The analysis is saved to your history, so you can reopen it without re-running it.

Worth knowing

  • The URL has to be publicly reachable. A listing behind a login, an internal ATS preview link, or an expired posting cannot be fetched.
  • Works with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and any public careers page.
3

Read your quality score

The overall score is a sum of five dimensions, so you can see which specific weakness is pulling the listing down rather than just that it scored badly.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Open the analysis from your dashboard history.
  2. Read the overall score first, then the five dimension scores beneath it.
  3. Start with the dimension furthest from its maximum — that is where the points are.

You get

  • You know your overall listing quality out of 100.
  • You know which of the five dimensions is weakest, and by how much.

Compare the listing with the market

Pro plan

A score tells you the listing is weak. The benchmark tells you what the listings you are competing with actually do, so you know which change is worth making first.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Open an analysis report.
  2. Read the “Competitive Benchmark” section beneath the score breakdown.
  3. Compare your description length, salary disclosure and remote policy against the market averages.
  4. Read the top keywords found in similar listings.

You get

  • You see how many comparable listings were found and where yours sits against them.
  • You get the terms the strongest similar listings use, which is what makes the keyword score actionable.

Worth knowing

  • Your Competitive Position score reflects the market on every plan — Pro adds the comparison behind the score. On Free the section shows what it contains and the upgrade path instead of the data.
5

Apply the improvement suggestions

Every report lists concrete changes tied to the points they recover, so improving a listing is a checklist rather than a guess.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Read the suggestions listed with the report.
  2. Apply the changes in your own ATS, then re-analyse the updated listing to confirm the score moved.

You get

  • A concrete list of edits, each tied to the dimension it improves.
  • A before-and-after score once you re-analyse.

Worth knowing

  • Scoutvox does not edit your listing for you. It has no write access to your ATS — you make the change, then re-analyse.
6

Generate AI rewrite suggestions

Pro plan

Beyond the rule-based suggestions every report carries, Scoutvox can draft replacement wording you can copy straight into your listing.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Open an analysis report.
  2. In “AI Optimization Suggestions”, press Generate Suggestions.
  3. Use Copy on any suggestion to take the replacement wording.

You get

  • Suggested replacement wording for weak sections, each with the reason and its expected impact.

Worth knowing

  • On the Free plan the panel shows the upgrade path instead of the Generate button — it will not offer you an action that cannot complete.
7

Check your usage and upgrade when you need to

Your remaining allowance is always visible on the dashboard, so you find out where you stand before an analysis is refused rather than after.

In the app: Dashboard

Do this

  1. Read the usage indicator at the top of the dashboard.
  2. To upgrade, press Upgrade to Pro, then choose whether to pay by card or with PayPal.
  3. Complete checkout with the provider you chose.

You get

  • You know how much of your monthly allowance is left.
  • Pro removes the monthly analysis limit and unlocks AI rewrite suggestions.

Worth knowing

  • The price is shown by the payment provider at checkout, which is the authoritative figure — Scoutvox itself never quotes an amount it cannot verify.
8

Get help

A direct line to the Scoutvox team that does not require you to be signed in, so you can reach us even when the problem is signing in.

In the app: Support

Do this

  1. Open Support.
  2. Describe what you were doing and what you expected instead. Include the listing URL if the problem was an analysis.

You get

  • Your message reaches the Scoutvox team with the context needed to answer it.
9

Manage your Nimvox ID

Your password, two-factor authentication, connected accounts and active sessions are managed centrally, once, for every Nimvox product.

Lives on https://id.nimvox.dev

Do this

  1. Choose “Manage your Nimvox ID” in the top navigation.
  2. You arrive at your central account page on id.nimvox.dev.

You get

  • Password, two-factor authentication, connected accounts and sessions — all in one place, applying to every Nimvox product.

Worth knowing

  • Changing your password there changes it everywhere, because there is only one credential.
