Scoutvox

Privacy

Scoutvox follows the Nimvox privacy policy, which covers what we collect, who processes it, and the rights you have over it. This page adds the part specific to this product, and the control that only works here.

Analytics

We measure how our own pages are used, so we can tell which parts of Scoutvox people reach and which they never find. Two things do that, and neither is used to advertise to you or to follow you to other websites.

  • Scoutvox’s own page counting. When you open a page we record that it was opened, which page it was, and the address of the page that sent you. To count one visit rather than many, your browser keeps a random session number for as long as the tab is open; closing the tab discards it. We do not attach your account to these records — there is no column for it — and they are deleted after 90 days.
  • Cloudflare. Our hosting provider counts page views and measures loading speed on every page it serves for us. It sets no cookies and builds no profile across websites. It does see the network address the request came from, as any provider serving a page must.

We keep no cookies for either of these, which is why Scoutvox asks you no cookie question. You can switch off Scoutvox’s page counting whenever you like, and we honour your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings without being asked.

This switch applies to scoutvox.dev on this device and this browser. It is stored on your device, so it does not travel to your other devices — and a switch on another Nimvox product’s site cannot reach this one, which is why the control is here rather than only on nimvox.dev.

Everything else

Account data, billing, the listings you analyse, how long we keep them, who processes them, and how to ask for a copy or a deletion are all in the Nimvox privacy policy. Questions about any of it go to [email protected].
